Im afraid that there isn't much going on Santa Barbara just a tiny village there in the countryside and the villa can be indeed isolated depending if is in the village itself or away from it,your freidnm will need a car to get out and about.

Thanks for the replys - At least they can organise a car and are prepared for the fact that its a quiet little place - might love it !

Very small British Pub in the center BJ's just along from the Church, has good food plus UK football etc.

A few other nice places to eat up the hill behind the village, some with great views.

Top Tip: Have a bbq at the Villa, just opposite the church along a small side street is an English catering Buthcer(Barry) just ask him for a bbq pack and he'll do you all you need with lovely marinades(spl) spices etc. already on. BBQ Ribs to die for.
