Hi Sue, we are there too, our first visit to the Santa Lucia, been many times to Majorca, most parts. Any info on the Hotel ie" best floor, north/south view. Quite a lot of people who have been there, complain about, the ajoining doors between rooms,noise levels... ?? have you experianced this.

I Dont know anything about the "adjoining doors between rooms" unless they are family rooms.
We have never found the hotel at all noisy.
We usually choose the 3rd floor but the hotel isnt very high so we dont really mind.
You really want a room on the poolside if you like the sun in your room as it doesnt get into rooms on the other side (although it is still a sea view because of the situation of the hotel)
It must be about 6 years since we stayed at the Santa Lucia and unfortunately we have been on the dull side three times and only once on the sunny side. On our latest holidays we stayed in the Son Matias which is very close by.
We like Palma Nova and it is a joint favourite with Cala Bona when we go to Majorca.

Me and mum going to the Hawaii Hotel in May so might be there same time as you. When we were last there 2 years ago we walked into Magaluf most nights and went to a bar at the bottom of the strip, had live music inside - called something like Plaza Cafe. We also went to the Piano Bar in Magaluf which we really liked. Benny Hills is also very popular.

We will be arriving at the Santa Lucia tomorrow evening.
We are very much looking forward to returning to Palma Nova and revisiting our favourite places.
I have e-mailed the hotel to request a room but had no reply(which I believe others have said too)
Weather forecast looks quite good. I've not heard the Euro rate though.

We are having a good time here at the Santa Lucia, we have met up with Snowey (HT member)
and his wife and had a few chats.
The weather has been great except for a a blip on two days.
Will report when I get home.

I have been looking for several weeks for a holiday in Palmanova but found the prices had risen steeply since last year.This week looking every day I suddenly found Thomsons had reduced the Santa Lucia Hotel by £300 for the 2 weeks in May which I wanted. I went into First Choice shop and they price matched it for me and I booked.

We are going to the Santa Lucia next week and although we have been several times I wonder if anyone has been recently. I would like to know what it is like now that there is an All Inclusive option. There are no recent reports on the Hotel forum.
