2 60 year olds off to Santa Ponsa in 3 weeks for the first time, we like Spanish bars and restuarants (tend to avoid the fish and chips!) and wondered if anybody had any suggestions. We both speak spanish so it doesn't matter how "traditional " they are, my husband always tries to find the scruffiest place going thats full of old spanish men for our morning coffee and brandy - well they are cheaper and he is from Yorkshire!!
Thanks
Katy
what date you going im going on 6th sept from brum when i was there last year there was a few spanish looking restaurants but im sorry i didnt take note of the names , where u stopping ?
Its like going to Belfast on holidays. Full of young N Irish kids all having a great time. Didnt see much traditional spanish when I visited S Ponza. Although its a great little place. Good Shopping all at hand and not much walking involved to get around the town. The town has plenty of music bars but all seem to be your average irish/scottish and english bars. There will be some spanish bars im sure, but I dont think it would be for the traveller seeking the traditional spanish way of life. But im sure you will have a great time.
