We didnt stay at the Aquamarina but at the OnaBrava which is run by the same group.
The Aquamarina is a big hotel, well maintained and pretty lively, it is also very busy (or was when we were there) I dont know about getting a bus to Tossa but you can get the boat, it takes about an hour and you can get off and explore on the way, price from Santa Susanna was 19 euros return.
I think you can also get thr train, the costal railway runs to Blanes and I think you change there for Tossa.
Hope this helps.

We have quite a few reviews here :-
thanks Rob on info, although i,m going to santa susanna, my son as got a last minute cheepo to can marti campsite tossa de mar by canterbrica coach holidays anyone with info on this campsite much appreciated. also where if you want to eat in santa susanna would anyone recommend a decent restraunt or bar where a fortys couple could enjoy a relaxing meal or drink also any good places in malgrat that would suit us
we were half board so only snacked out at lunch, most of the bars on the prom are owned by hotels and the food is ok, from memory the one outside yours is great for Pizzas Kebabs etc. If you walk down the road try the Ship for lunch its the only British owned bar in Santa Susanna.
Your son will have more luck in Tossa, there are loads of good resteraunts and "real Tapas bars" to choose from.
Have a good time.
Rob
Does anyone know the web page address to this hotel?
We have booked our honeymoon at this hotel in late August (unfortunately we are on quite a budget so can't afford 5 star luxury). Any tips or experiences on the hotel.
Thanks
Lynne
This hotel is very impressive both inside and out, haven't actually stayed here but used it for the welcome meeting when we stayed at the Riviera just down the road. Love santa susanna.
You'll not be disappointed with this hotel. Its lovely. Popped in a couple of weeks ago for a drink and would happily have stayed there.
Re posted as new thread
