For some time on the Benidorm Forum people have been discussing an excellent programme which can be downloaded free of charge from Google Earth.
At the moment you can zoom in on more than half of Malta and half of Gozo. For anyone who knows Malta well lots of places are easily recognisable but I only know the Sliema/Valetta/St Julians areas and they are not yet clear.
I think that the available areas are updated from time to time.
