Just booked two weeks at the SAYAR Aparts from 6 July with Direct Holidays, very good price for SC in 1 bed'rm apart.
I have read the reviews which are mainly good (basic accomm but clean, friendly and large pool area).
I know they are set back a bit in Amutalan area, but can anyone give a better idea of the Sayar's location, what's it near to (other hotels, bars, restaurants etc)? Has anyone been recently? Any tips or advise?
We've been to Marmaris quite a few times over the years, last time about 2 years ago, any changes recently, eg on the front etc?
Is 'Bar X' still going strong on the sea front, near to Uno Momento Restaurant?
Looking forward to going back to Marmaris, we've always had good hols there.

Stayed at the SAYAR for two weeks fron 6th to 20th July. Had a good holiday, lovely weather, two weeks of clear blue skies and sunshine every day.

Sayer apartments are on the number 3 bus route just below the cettia hotel not stopped there but passed many times we stopped at Royal Gardens in June which is a little higher up if you go out the bus goes along the main road to the centre if your not sure were to get off ask the driver to let you know when you get there.

Not sure where apartments are but Bar X is definately still there I was dancing on the bar there in June this year, the place was alive but a lot of really young ones in there, noticed two girls from our hotel in and they were 14. Hope thats not put you off.
