I have travelled the route myself by coach where the gleeful Holiday Rep asked everybody to admire the beautiful views. There were little screams of fear from some. The screams became louder when the Rep (tongue-in-cheek) advised that this was the driver's first time driving a coach.
Naturally, the Rep and Driver played to the crowd.
There are alternate less picturesque routes and the Rep just might listen to you. However, if the coast route is chosen the scary heights section lasts for a few minutes only. The entire journey takes about an hour.
thanks for the info, we are supposed to be going on thursday i think i will be staying at home!!!!
No, Don't stay at home. Listen to your ipod and keep your eyes closed. It's worth the trip and a great place to have a holiday
You could always get a taxi and ask him to go via the motorway (Autovia),no scary views,John.
If you go by coach to Mojacar, it might help if you sit in the left hand side seats if you don't like heights so that you aren't looking out over the sheer drops.
