I know quite a few Airtours reps and I worked in there 2 years ago as the Airtours rep, as far as I know they havent been told its going.

I know its having a massive refurb over the winter which includes fitting aircon. I had a look round Sea Club 1 the other day and was very impressed as they had a major refurb last winter.

Does anybody know if there is a hotel run kids club at the Seaclub 1 apartments?
We have already booked flights and looking to book this accommodation on the internet, but need to check if there is a kids club other than the one run by first choice.

Do you mean the Sea Club 1 in alcudia, if so them we went there two years ago, Yes there is kids clubs there, plenty to do, if need any more info just ask.

I have been to majorca quite a lot but this time we have booked independant flights and are staying at the sea club apartments in alcudia. they look really nice and low rise, near to the main things etc, but i have read some conflicting reports.
has anyone been to them and could you tell me what they are like please, we are 2 adults and 2 kids age 6 & 3

we recently returned from a week's holiday to alcudia (may 05) with our grandchildren.

our very first holiday abroad was at the sea club 2 apartments and whilst on hoiday we took the grandchildren up to se the sea club apartments and to show them where there mum spent her first holiday abroad.

we were shocked to see the whole area derelect, the whole of the apartments were closed, the pool area/bar area was fenced off, the pool drained and a complete mess.

during the day there were workmen there but i dont know if they were renovating the apartments or preparing for demolition, we passed again one evening and there were some lights on!!! not sure if it was security, workment sleeping there or what.

it was a great pity as we had a fantastic holiday there and the apartments couldn't have been that old nor run down.

Co-Incidently i was browsing First Choices booking website at lunchtime for a holiday in October and one of the properties it offered was the SeaClub I in Alcudia.

Sorry for being dozy - but is there a difference between 1 and 2? Are they in the same location?

both are part of the same group, though seperate when making a booking.

seaclub 1 is still functioning whils 2 is closed.

both are next to each another although our impression was that the area was quite run down and i would not fancy being in the area after dark.

a friend of mine is going here october 1/2 term
i was looking for reviews for her but can only find sea club apartments 1 and 2 - is it all the same thing ?

I have found a site with a map that shows sea club 1 and sea club 2 are part of the same resort complex

HI all, i am off to the sea club tomorrow. I booked it independantly. from what i can gather i think they have closed sea club 2 and are just running one.

It is in a few brochures for next year and they all state it hasd 3 pools. when it was both 1 & 2 there would have been 4 pools.

now back from the sea club Excellent !!!!
it used to be 2 complexes and although they cannot move the accommodation it is all run as one now.
we stayed in the old sea club 2 side. we were in apartment 221 and this block has the pool in front of it. Excellent location, quiet but only a couple of minutes walk over to the main buffet restaurant and about 5 mins to the shops, 8 mins or so to the beach. It was totally refurbished over on the sea club 2 side in may this year, the other side being done last year.
very clean, lovely warm pool, pool bar, playground. whichever block of accommodation you are in there is something, if not a pool then a playground or massive sand pit.
excellent entertainment in the day and shows at night. seems the english are all put over onto this side (block d). thet other side is much busier, all the sunbeds get reserved. we had no problem getting a bed, opened the patio door walked out and sat by the pool and played with all the lilos and boats people had left!!
I would def go back, i booked through an accommodation only company, wintersunshine holidays, alpha beds and broadway travel also sell like this. You can get really chep flights with thomsonfly ot jet2.
package holiday companies also there, sunset and first choice.

glad you had a fantastic holiday, though i am really surprised that the sea club 2 complex was up and running.

as i previously posted i was out there in may this year and the sea club 2 complex was really run down and in no way had we ever thought would be operational for '05 summer season.

however it was and by the sounds of things you really enjoyed your holiday, we had a fantastic holiday at seaclub 2 many years ago and hold gread memories.

Hi Returned from Seaclub 2 on 31st August 2005. The apartments and studios were very clean. We booked independently through Broadway Travel http://www.broadwaytravel.co.uk and were very pleased with the accommodation.

We booked an apartment, but when we arrived they could supply us with one and we had 2 studios instead; I think this was probably because they had had a bad storm the day b4 and some apartments had been flooded out, but the compensation was fantastic - half board for our party of 6 for the 10 nights we were there!!!!! I'm only telling you this to let you know how wonderful the food is in Seaclub.

As somebody else has already posted, Seaclub 1 is available through First Choice, and Seaclub 2 through Broadway.

we are trying to plan a holiday to the above apartments , but are confused about the studio accomadation , could sumone please advise , if the beds are normal beds or settee's , and what the rooms are like

We are thinking of going to these apartments nxt year and was wondering what the kids clubs are like it only says about the clubs for 4-8 year olds, my boys will be nearly 11 and 8 when they go i am worried the oldest one will not have much to do while the younger one will have lots more to do, its very hard to get a happy medium for everyone, please let me know. thanks folks

I am staying in the sea club from 10th June.

I have read a few reports and i beleive the seaclub 1 & 2 have now joined as just the sea club.

Can anyone let me know what the hotel is like? I have seen pictures and looks lovely.

what it like which block should i ask for so we not to far away but not in noisy part.

Would it be too busy in aug as we want to go late may or mid aug
