Sea Club is a sprawling complex. There are two parts which used to be Sea Club 1 and Sea Club 2 before they changed the name to Sea Club Resort. By all means try and ask them to give you a particular block, but bear in mind that there are well over a thousand people to be accommodated at any one time. I'm not saying they will not comply, and so do give it a go, but with a place of the size of Sea Club the booking system is pretty complicated. Otherwise, as far as location is concerned, Sea Club is good - close to the beach and to plenty of bars and restaurants, though if you are in the old Sea Club 2 a bit more of a walk!

I was hoping to take the family to the Sea Club again this year on a DIY holiday (went last) but have found out that they have "sold out" to First Choice and MyTravel which means that, mid-May to mid-September you can only book through those tour operators. Unfortunately, we have spoken to first Choice and they will accept hotel only bookings but will only offer studios not apartments (no good for a family of 4 and the studios were not great from memory)! I'm hoping we may get lucky nearer the time (have flights booked for 27th June) but it's looking more and more likely that we will have to look for alternative accommodation.

I think the only block to avoid is D block (the old Sea Club II complex) as it's a bit detached from the rest and there have been incidents of theft in the past! We stayed in A block last year and it was excellent. Hope you have a good 1.
