We have booked a standard room with sea view at the Atlantica Imperial.
Last week I e-mailed the hotel to request where we would prefer our room looking at the picture we have from google earth. All our choices according to the manager of the hotel were superior rooms, they were very helpful and have said if there is availabilty we can upgrade to one of these rooms free of charge.
But the only standard rooms they do have are at the back of the hotel facing the road so no sea view or the last three blocks right at the back - so how can a sea view be possible unless you have paid extra on top for a superior room.
All I can say is what a con we paid nearly £100.00 each extra for sea views and unless the hotel has spare superior rooms we will not be getting what we paid for.
So be careful when you book a sea view at this hotel. I will report back on our return
