The long-awaited Metro system is now open in Seville. Here is a map of the one-line system:-

Hey guys I'm off to Seville next week for a few days as a last minute budget break, I was just wondering if anyone knew what sort of time the buses tend to run till over there? Were staying near the airport but I know there is a regular bus service into the city, but if it does finish early we'll have to factor some money in for taxis etc. Also does anyone have a rough idea how much a taxi would be from the city to the airport? Thanks!!

Can't help re buses as I've always stayed in the centre of the old part of the city so everything of an evening has tended to be within waliking distance but from memory (it's two years since my last trip to Seville) it was in the region of 20/22 Euros from the airport into the city centre.

I'm finally getting to go back to Seville next Feb (2012). Last time I was there was in 2004. Always wanted to go back and visit. Got my flights booked with Easyjet, since they are now doing direct flights from Gatwick. Checking out accommodation, but I think I know which hotel I want to book in the Santa Cruz area. Going there to celebrate my 40th. Will make a change from going to Barcelona and the surrounding areas around the city. Can't wait. :D :D :D
