Does any know if Bobby has managed to get a licence?

shazerallen,
We have used quite a few, almost all are good. We tend to use Monicos, near Bobbys, but have used 21 coconuts, Tidal wave, bulldog and Claudinas.
If you don't like one try another. The ones towards the Taj end tend to be a bit more expensive, but it is all relative.
Have a great time
Steve

Hi there, if you come out of the Prazeres turn left and walk towards Candolim crossroads, then turn left and cross over the road, walk past the Bom Successo a parade of shops and Ruffles bar,you then take the next right turn which is called the Whispering Palms Beach Road (tai restaurant for HT meet ups is down here) also the Mermaid restaurant, follow this road down to the beach and look diagonnally across for Ganesh Shack - very friendly, good food and a really good family to sit and chat to.
It may seem as though you are far away from the beach but it is a very easy walk, it will only cost you 50 rupees from your hotel to the beach, just ask for the ''Whispering Palms end of beach road''.
Enjoy your hols !! Spike.

Sorry Lezlie, you beat me to it.
There's the Sports Bar (Think its called J2) on the main beach road, they have about 5 big screen TVs all going at the same time but showing different matches, you can't miss it.
