never styed Ai in my life, but get as close to Naama as you can.. a lot of Ais are far away which meanss being stuck in resort and families get itchy feet!

Don't go to the Calimera Moderna... the people next to me on the plane said is a lovley hotel but the standard of food on AI is poor, which is unusual for Sharm! (Feb 06)

Cazza,I would recommend the Conrad hotel which is popular with the British.The hotel is spread out about half a mile along a fantastic beach.The British tend to stay in the middle section as to the left is where the large amount of Italians have their beach activities etc.The also have an identical resturant to the one the British use and their own auditorium with excellent entertainment by an animation team of 20plus.There was a few Russian guests when we were there who seemed to be on half board as I never saw them at lunch time or in the bar area.I dont think there are any Germans here but a few Dutch guests who were lovely.

We had a great time at the Conrad, Sharm, and will be going back there next year! Fantastic location if you like a good beach!
