Hi, We have just returned from a fortnight stay at the Ship Inn, yes the new restaurant has opened. It has been built over the existing terrace but the terrace has been extended,. The wall of the new restaurant is all glass panels that can be folded back to allow dining under cover or on the new terrace. Inside the restaurant there is a large charcoal grill similar to that at Niazis restaurant. The staff are the same as last year, Zubi in the restaurant, Nuri bar manager. Everybody is still so helpful and friendly, I,m sure you will enjot it again. This was our forth year.

Many thanks denwardie! I know we shouldn't wish our lives away but, roll on September This will be our fourth visit. We have, on previous visits requested ( and got ) a room with a view of the mountains. However, this year, due to mobility problems we have asked for a garden room, although if we don't get one we're not too worried, just glad to be there.

Sorry denwardie another question!! OH wonders what the prices are like in the new restaurant. They have always been very reasonable and the food has always been excellent. As they seem to be trying to attract a wider clientele, is this reflected in the prices? Won't make a lot of difference to us, we will eat there most nights with just a couple of evenings in Kyrenia!!

Hi, The prices are on par with most restaurants around Kyrenia. Main courses start at approx 20 lire up to 30 lire for a top steak We paid the supplement for half board and had a choice of 3 starters and three main courses each evening.Not big servings but enough for us old folk. We did eat from the a la carte menu and had a discount. We also eat at Niazi in town where we paid the same as the Hotel prices. If you are interested Efes was 4 lira small 6lira large and 7 lire extra big. Have a good time.
