Hi all
I'm off to Turkey in July with three teenage girls, my husband and 3 year old son. I have heard that there are a couple of decent shopping malls in Antalya and wanted to get opinions on whether they're worth visiting and the prices in comparison to the UK.
I found Deepo Outlet Centre in Google but with the site in Turkish, am at a loss to gauge what's there. I've also heard of another mall - Migros (sp?) - which might also hit the spot (well, for the girls and me, at least!).
We're staying in Side.
Thanks in advance
Whitters
But shopping in Side will be an eye opener .
T- shirts / socks/ jeans and bags . followed by more T- shirts / socks/ jeans and bags.
I bought a 'fake' pair of ( white ) Levi 501 , less than half the weight of a genuine pair .
They are fantastic for wearing in the summer ( me and Jeremy Clarkson share the same tailor)

The Saturday street market in Sirinyalı which is close to the Dedemen and Adonis hotels.
There is a street named Gulluk which is full of clothes, watches and shoe shops etc. The shops are open everyday. It will take you about 15 minutes to walk there from the old city (Kaleici) or you can catch the tram which runs along through the city and follows the coast as far as Konyaaltı beach. If you get into the second carriage and tell the ticket collector that you want Gulluk and stay near him he will tell you when to get off. Alternatively there is always a taxi. There are plenty of small restaurants to get a drink or bite to eat.
There is a big shopping centre named Migros you want the 5M Migros which is in Konyaaltı part of the city.
Or you can just wander around the city streets and see what taks your fancy
My wife was not impressed with Deepo.
How are you getting from Side to Antalya?
Shopping centers named "Outlet" are always cheaper than malls. You may try it. "Migros" is a chain of market like Carrefour. Cheap as well.
