You're nowhere near the Greek islands in Side. If you want to visit them you'd be better off booking to go to Greece. Side is likely to be very hot.
The archeological sites in the area are awesome. Try to take a trip to Aspendos. If you want some action you can go white water rafting in the mountains. Great fun.

You can go on quad bike trips and jeep safaris.

It does give some good suggestions for trips. Yes, Aspendos is a must but there are several other places which are easily reachable by dolmus or coach trip.

Rhodes is the nearest Greek Island but is about 220 miles from Side by sea. You could fly there for a few days on the way in or out.

you can go to Cypress by hydrofoil from Alanya..which is very near to Side.

You can actually go on a boat trip to Rhodes I know somebody who did it. And it isnt too far to Greece. It will be scorching I have been few times and am going back in August xxx
