Hi hubby, 2 kids (14 and 11) and myself are thinking of heading to Benidorm in the next few weeks for a post-40th birthday celebration. We normally venture to Javea but after going there a few Easters ago and having rain from the minute we stepped off the plane til we got back on it again a week later we've decided to try our luck somewhere else! We normally book our apartment and flights separately but are finding it really difficult to find an apartment in Benidorm itself. We've been looking at private rentals in the Sierra Cortina resort but are wondering if they're a bit far out. If we ended up there is it a safe enough area to walk around and is it at all poss to walk into Benidorm itself from there - we're planning on hiring a car for the week but would prefer not to use is every day? The other possibility we're looking at is the Sydney apartment block in La Cala Finestrat which seems to be more central and have the option of more restaurants and bars nearby. As we're Benidorm virgins can anyone give us any advice on the above or any other possible options they can suggest!
