I have always found cheap holidays as I am a travel agent, but this year I seem to be struggling. I found a cheap holiday with siesta holidays and this is going by coach. Now I am one to give anything a go and thought the coach journey would be part of the holiday. I would be travelling with my husband and my mum and 16 year old brother. Just to note I am 28 years old.
I just wanted to know what I would expect from Siesta and the coach journey in general. Would anyone recommend this? And what tips would you offer?
Also is it usual for families to be split up if they are on 2 seperate bookings?
Thanks
they do have very good coaches, and the leg room is very good.
there was also a thread, last year i think, giving all sorts of tips on travelling by coach.
the most important one is to treat the coach journey as part of your holiday, not just as a means of getting there.
as regards split bookings, if you call them up beforehand (about 2-3 weeks) you should be able to ensure your bookings are linked and so get treated as a family of 4.
Thank you. I tried to have a look but couldnt find any. But will look again!
have a look here for tips on a long coach journey.
you could also look at this thread.
if you do a search on the costa brava forum for siesta or ferris, you will get a lot more info.
hope this helps
