Just an afterthought - try sending a personal message to Algarve addick (spelling is correct) from this forum - he lives in Albufeira and owns a bar there so he'll almost certainly have the info you need.

Hi Tony, the Silchoro is situated behind The Strip (top half Montechoro hotel side) near Vila Petra Aparthotel,there is a short cut walk through which brings you to Vila Petra and then to the Strip I would say the walk to Paraiso de Albufeira is approx 15/20 minutes if that. Cheers Jayjan

The Silchoro are situated just off Rua Texeira Gomes & if you cut through on Rua Augustino it will bring you to the Vila Petra & then The Strip. The road names are on the map @ http://www.albufeira.com hope this helps.
