Hi Kelly, We have been to this resort on a number of occasions since 2002 and have had excellent holidays. I have read a lot about trouble and bad holidays, but there again same has been said about a lot of other countries. Most of the trouble I've heard about this year revolves around youngsters going to the beach with young ladies only to be fleeced( surprise, surprise ) and people using the bike taxi's. Don't think this will apply to you.
I have always said listen to the advice on money changing, taxi's, etc ( loads on this site ) and you can't go wrong. You may also wish to have a look at Tripadvisor or Beach Bulgaria forums for further tips.

The Kuban is located in the very centre of the resort so you will be spoilt for choice,( has a small water park attached ) 2 further large aquaparks are in the vicinity of SB.
Always found Bulgarians to love children so you won't have a problem.
Nearer the date I would post to see who else is going at the same time and as we did this year met up with other board members for drinks and meal. Good way to meet people.

For every bad report there is a hundred good ones, just keep reading the forums to pick up good knowledge for next year and you'll have a good time.

kelly i agree with toonman we have been to bulgaria ( sunny beach 4 times ) and are going again july 09 cant wait and i have not seen any trouble at all like toonman said its the same in any country dont change your money on the streets use your safe deposit boxes dont use bike taxis if you do use a taxi ask them how much before you get in some of them do go over the top especially the ones that have got the trips advertised in the window of the taxi there is nothing wrong with them they are just a little more expensive we use the same taxi driver all the time again toonman was talking about young ladies ( you know what we mean ) but they will not bother you please dont be worried sunny beach is a lovely place but its like i say to everyone thats going it is not spain and nothing like spain your hotel is right in the center ours is 2 mins from yours go have a brill time we always do x x
