Whilst this is a nice complex i would say that is is more sutied to familes with young children. i would reccommend it to anyone with kids.

For the Puerto Colon area i would reccommend

Club Atlantis
Garden City
Los Geranios
Palm Beach

For the Las Americas end i would then recommend.

You could try Ocean Park apartments. Very quiet, at times only you in the pool! No onsite entertainment but within 5mins walk to Puerto Colon and all the bars etc. Small onsite bar which is very quiet with a nice couple who run it.
