It also snowed yesterday during the morning in Antalya for about 1 hour...it was lovely to see this big flakes and after living here in Antalya for 11 years away from Canada..it was a real treat to see the snow...today however, bright, cheery but COLD...

this is only the second time I have seen snow here in Antalya...however the surrounding mountains do get snow capped in the winter..very beautiful. My kids...rarely ever see snow...growing up here in Turkey..unless we travel to a place with snow...

I agree tracy..... my kids are 20 and 22 and the last time we had really bad snow was well over 12 yrs ago.
I remember it well as it was on a Boxing day and my husband was watching football on telly, his team was getting beat and it started to snow so he took the kids out in the garden to build a snowman!!! not had
snow that bad or anywhere near since
So far this winter we have had one days worth of snow that put a little dusting on the ground for a few hours/day.
