I believe it is next door to the Victor Exotica on the road towards Sinquerim & Fort Aguarda.
We stay at the Sunshine Park and walk past the Gloria Ann hotel on the way to ours.
It's slightly off the main road so shouldn't be too noisy.
Sorry, I've not got any more information about the hotel iteself.

If you like eating & drinking more towards the Calangute end of Candolim it may be a bit of a trek for you.

Not for me, Max.

There's enough lunatics driving on the road in Goa without me adding one more.:omg

Seriously, it's a long walk to get to the Beach road where the sports bars are.

Thanks for the info Prettypollycat - it should be quiet there - and we have friends staying at the Don Hill (don't ask) so it wont really bother us to be next to the Victor Exotica as we like to go to Mai Tai.
Not a big fan of Beach Road nowadays and we don't go in the Sports Bar, but saying that we always have a meal or 2 at Teama's and I believe Foxy has moved down there this year and I always look him up.

Stayed there about 5 years ago, was Ok then. I seem to remember the taxi drivers taking great offence if you didn't use the ones parked at the Gloria Anne. Nice little store / drinks area at the bottom of the road frequented by tourists and locals....good place for a cool (cheap) beer and a catch-up after being out all day. Also the store had a good rate on changing sterling and cheap to phone home from. Excellent driver frequented there- can't remember his name but he had a blue van with 'flying bird' on the side I think. The rooms then were a good size, with a seperate living area.

Hey thanks for that djk - nice little report, looks like i'm going to like the place - like Candolim always have done, sounds a good place to be.

I think the store that djk means is called Shantadurga Stores.
We used to use it for drinks when we stayed at the Victor Exotica about 5 years ago.
