Hi i am going here on 15th February, does anyone know what sort of temerature it is out there is it warm enough to swim in the sea?
thanks
Hi
The sea temperature is around the 70 degree mark in February and i find it OK. If you are person that feels the cold then a 3 to 5 millimeter short wet suit would be fine.

I am going to the Jaz Mirabel Beach next week. Do I need to take beach towels or are they provided?
Many thanks

Has anyone stayed int he `Club` part? wondering what it is like and if you can use facilities of the Beach and Park.
Many thanks
Many thanks
Hi katiesmum
As far as I'm aware having stayed at the beach you are entitled to use certain facilities at the park and beach. However this does not include the main restaurants of which you have your own. The club is the newer of the complex and is also the quieter.

Hi! Could anyone please tell me if the Beach hotel rooms are equipped with a kettle, as we will have to make up baby bottles of formula while there. It's doubtful, but just thought I'd double check before buying a travel kettle and adaptor!
Thanks!
Thanks!
Hi lardylegs
There are no kettles in the rooms so you will need to bring a kettle and a adapter. Room service is of course available in case you need it

Thanks Fourbanks, was wondering if you stay at the Club if you can use the pool at the Park (think this is the one with the slides) I can`t seem to get any prices for the Park. But am still looking
Yes, thanks from me too fourbanks. Did you by any chance go to the Mirabel Beach with children? If yes, I'd be really interested to hear what there is for them to do (I have a 6 year old and one year old). Also, how long does it take to walk to the Park hotel; would it be too much in the heat?
Many thanks once again!
Many thanks once again!
Hi katiesmum
You can indeed use any of the pools of the complex so no problem on that score

Hi lardylegs
I did stay at the beach with my children aged 13 and 9 and they had a good time. For a six year old there are the pools with lots of other children so there shouldn't be a problem on that score. As for distance between the park / beach then i would say a five to ten minute walk and as the weather is around 27 Celsius at the moment it shouldn't be to much of a problem but come mid summer when the temperature is around 45 Celsius then it would pay to stay in the right part of the complex to avoid unnecessary walking

Hi
Does anyone know if the Jaz Mirabel Beach is the same as the Sol Y Mar Mirabel beach as some of the reviews for Sol Y Mar refer to the Jaz. However both have different websites so I think they are different.
The Jaz Mirabel has waterslides, but not really sure about Sol Y Mar.
Thanks

Hi nicolaw
Can you please provide the links for the websites that you are referring to as it will make it easier for me to address ? As the Sol Y Mar Mirabel beach complex has water slides

Can remember reading somewhere that Jaz is the name of the chain now. Did come across the hotel website once but cant remember the link. Have some friends who are going in april, looks fabulous on the website.
Well i have had a look at both of these names Sol Y Mar Mirabel beach and Jaz Mirabel Beach and they are the same hotel which can be found here

Hi
Here is the sol y mar website
http://solymaregypt.com/solymar/des.htm
I ask because the sol y mar mirabel club is around £600 cheaper than the jaz mirabel, so I don't want to pay that extra money for the Jaz if it is part of the same complex and I can use all the facilities.
Thanks a lot.

Hi nicolaw, you are asking the same questions I am thinking. I like the idea of this resort as well but can only get prices for Club and Beach (the Club being loads cheaper than the Beach, and nothing is coming up for the Park)
We also want to go 24th May for 1 week flying from Manchester

Thank you Fourbanks, loads of info:
Could I ask a few questions please - Can you use the bars in the different hotels (Park, Beach, Club ) under the AI package?
How big are the pools? went to Sheraton Miramar in El Gouna in August and photos of pool were very deceiving and pool was quite small for size of hotel.
Are there many sunbeds, especially near to pool with the slides. I hat getting up at crack of dawn just to get somewhere to sit!!!!
Did you go round the Club, how does it compare to the other parts? are they all similar? you mention that the Club / Gardens are the cheapest???
Many thanks
