Hello folks.
We are going to Son Bou in mid May. Please can anybody advise what the weather should be like this time of year?
Also, could anyone tell us what there is to do in Son Bou and surrounding areas? We like seeing all the sights whether on the coast or inland?
Finally we are great lovers of food and have heard that the area doesn't vary too much in the food offers to tourists. Can anyone please give us details of good restaurants about and is there a supermarket nearby, where we can get all groceries, maybe a Eroski supermarket?
Thanks for your time.
Johnny Fow.

Son Bou itself if a very, very small place.
Entertainment in the evening is limited so you may be confined to your hotel or visit others in the local vicinity.
That said, the beach is super and there are plenty of watersports etc.

There are some good restaurants but you may need to drive inland for the best. Try Cobblers in Aliaor(Don't think that's spelt right) San Jose on road from Mahon to Fornels or Pierro along the marina in Mahon.
If you like walking there are some great walks both on the coast and inland.

Hi, we are going to Son Bou for our 4th time this year, but staying in a villa for the first time. We love the resort, its got a fantastic beach, plenty of restaurants to try (bonis is really good). Also we have had excellent meals from the restauraunt above the main Club San Jaime bar, not sure what its called but its next to the blue slides. Excellent quality food. If you drive into Alaoir, there is a large Spar supermarket, with all you will need. Driving about is really easy, Mahon is very nice but Ciutadella harbour has some lovely restaurants and is lovely at night.
Where are you staying in Son Bou?
