hi pat - have you stayed at sao domingos? i have looked at their website and it looks great, but looks more basic with jewel in the crown. do you know if it is in fact the same guesthouse? dont know wether to book with jewel or try and do it independently.

I would do it independant its very good and his restaurant is supurb

I have stayed at Sao Domingos 3 times and have found it great, try and book it independently, just email Edwin (see the website for his address), the only snag I have had in the past is getting a cheap flight over to Goa, more often than not its been cheaper to book a package, but you may get lucky. The accommodation is in two separate blocks, if you look at the website, Luciana's Residency is the newer block and is slightly dearer to stay in. I have only ever stayed in the other block and have found it absolutely fine, typical goan accommodation

As Grannypat says, the restaurant is superb and there is a bar area as well if you just want a drink at the end of the evening

double room A/C FRIDGE and Full Breakfast would this be for Sao Domingos or Luciana,s think
this works out around £30 per night We also love The Goan Village superb food.
