I reckon travel insurance will be a but pricey too...
I bowed out as soon as I read no alcohol
With no alcohol there'll be no atmosphere....
lol Frank, if you could afford to go, would you do it, i think i would
25 years ago I definitely would have gone if I could have got the million pounds together, but I'm not sure my body would welcome space travel now.
I'm just wondering if BA did these flights how many tier points and miles I would get

Me too - I would definitely be up for that, I really, really would
I dont think my discs would survive the G forces on the way up, I wouldn't pass the medical, the weightlessness would take some getting used to - like going over a humpback back bridge too fast, but non stop for 5 days.
Seriously, after the take off and a few orbits of the earth it would be pretty boring!.
You know the feeling you get when your holiday ends? Imagine how It feel after a space flight- back down to earth with a bump.
I knew this thread reminded me of something Van posted many moons ago.

it is no smoking i presume, until you re-enter the atmoshere
I think that i should be involved in this as i should have been an astronaut,i think that is what my headmaster meant when he said that i took up space in school!

We may have our first spaceport in the UK by 2018. Six of the 8 possible spots are in Scotland. Good job there is not one in Aberdeen. With the carry on anyone has here getting planning permission for major developments of any kind, we would still be debating it all in 2050!

if you get your independence don't think we will let you have spaceships in OUR airspace!
