Everything has been quiet on the old future front, however, as predicted it looks like Louis Cruises will be running the ship till at least 2010, when I believe a cost exercise will be made to see if she is cost effective to upgrade to abide by the 2010 SOLAS rules
All websites are still saying she is chartered to TUI, however, the new brochure is not published yet, the old edition does not show the Emerald, but tucked away on the Louis Cruises website is the following page:-

It clearly shows the Emerald listed with the other ships for 2-16 day cruises.
Obviously the first edition brochure was finalised before they made their minds up.
So keep a look out for our favourite little old ship in the new year. She's not gone yet.
