The resort is fairly quiet, but we enjoyed it. We stayed at the Blue Diamond, The Dora get very good reviews and are central. The owners have a taverna over the road, where we ate, very nice. Lovely places to eat, not a bad meal in any of them.

Went a few years ago, Its a very quiet resort .

Bars and Restraunts are either side of a road that winds along the coast.

Really laid back and safe feel to it, lots of famillys etc.

Seems to be similar to Anaxos in Lesbos which was one of our best holidays.

Have been to ST George South Twice last time 3yrs ago.Its Quiet and the Weather in Period May to September is usually set Fair i.e. Mainly Clear Blue Skies with occasional strong onshore wind very little Rain and average about 35' when we have been.If you are prepared to walk up to 2 Miles to the south and North there are some Fantastic Beaches Where you can GO Bare at the far end of Each.Textiles and non textiles mix happily together and there is no "Leering as in UK." We have seen Flying Fish at the Dunes on the Northern Beaches and the water is so clear and Reasonably Shallow. Only Problem was the Constant Route Marching of the Italians out for their Constitution. Some of the Fillies though would bare all and join us even when on their own [ perhaps because we were mainly couples and Families of Various Nationalities].The Southern Beaches are Reached by Rounding Protruding Cliff then very Few People only Cheks/Slovaks and German/Italian.Mainly Naturist.You can walk to the End of Peninsular Textile or Non Textile.The sea here is a litle Deeper and more Wavy.At the Southern end of the approaching Beach is a seldom used bit of Beach which is usually 50/50 Naturist/Textile.its very Quiet and you can go all morning without anyone passing You.There is a Natural Spring at the Cliff Edge which has been made into a Shower some People apply Clay and Wash off here.There is some Driftwood here.
The second year this Beach had been Eroded by some savage Winter Storms as had the South Beach so you had to wade around cliff to Knee Depth [ no Tide thank goodness so cant get cut off].The Top end of the North Beach had also suffered. They may well have Returned by Natural means by now.We stayed at Blue Diamond [Great Place ] and Always Dined at Yanni's Hotel/Restaurant across the Road and 100yds to the South. Great Menu/ Great Service/ Great Prices/Great People. Am Just considering going back this year. Try a Large Draught Greek Beer " Ice Cold" Almost Heaven!! Give St George South a Try. And to answer your Query A Friend Recommends Dora Studios. The Friendly owners will offer to book you Direct Next Time at a saving ??
