We were at the St George last July, there was a party of 8 of us and I would say 4 had gippy tums. It really is hit and miss and honestly don't think it has anything to do with the hotel food. We never used water from the large self service bottles around the hotel, we always bought ours at the bar and even used this for tooth brushing. We really had a great time - and are returning to Sharm this July, but to another hotel - the only reason is that we would like to be on the beach. Otherwise I would have no hesitation on returning to the St. George for a really good value for money trip.

Hi We stayed there 2 weeks in October 2 adults 2 children - we never had any problems - just be sensible. We found that people returning from trips were the ill ones!!!!

I agree, there were 4 of us, my hubby had the trots for a few days (which happens when you change your diet/different climate) and I had it for just about a day. We drank from the water dispensers and ate all the food and drank what was on offer. I would say be careful about staying out in the sun too long then going into an air conditioned room.
