you must try the chicken house in Stalis, there were 10 of us and none of every had a bad meal, its doen one of the side street.

Restaurents on sea front always lovely,bit dearer but worth it.
There seem to be numerous quad bikes used instead of bikes. But it is flat enough for ordinary bike riders. Ther is is a costal road that will take you through to Malia and toward Hessoniss the other way.

There are some lovely restaurants in Malia Old Town - very traditional, white washed buildings and houses. There is one called The Elizabeth which is fantastic - great mezes, and often a couple of free glasses of wine thrown in!

We hired a car, so I'm not sure about bikes, but the car was well worth it as there is so much to see in other parts of the island. We saved a lot of money hiring the car as we didn't need to do the trips with the reps.

We went at the end of June, so I can't help you with that one, but it was scorching when we went.
