There were 3 tornados spotted in Palma Bay on Wednesday afternoon, but none of them hit land, and were last seen heading off towards Ibiza. The bad storm we had was 2 weeks ago, when a tornado went through Magalluf, Palma Nova and then into Palma itself.

Wednesday was small by comparison, although there was torrential rainfall. However yesterday was pleasant, and today is a lovely warm day with blue skies.

does not sound mild when it is put like that Adam and someone died yesterday

The storms we had a couple of weeks ago were monsters, and uprooted trees which had stood for dozens of years, over 20 were injured, 3 seriously, and there was millions of pounds worth of damage.

As I said the 3 tornados were spotted off shore last Wednesday, but never hit land, although as I also said, there was torrential rain. The Danish Lady who died was in Puigpunyent, and was carried away by a torrent as she got out of her car, which was stranded in flood water.

We've had good weather since, today was probably the warmest, although it is cool at nights.

arrgh well October is the month for storms etc in Mallorca so its only to be expected

just got back from majorca (5 hour went thursday last week )can vouch for the weather , after having a laugh with the rececption ,hows weather etc , he instanly showed me the paper of the day before (wed )with bad flooding in palma, cars floating etc, thought he was winding me up , but of course was true, luckily thurs was quite windy ,but warm ,been in the see the usual , but must say the weather did improve daily, yesterday was the hottest we had , as we left at 11.00 this morning and still qiute cloudy ,we did not experience the weather today, stayed at the hotel hawaii, will post later , but please please do not read all the BAD post of this hotel as we had a brill time , food excellent the whole 5 days and LOADS of choices, unless you are a complete foo freak you will be fine all 4 of us scoffed our faces and dread to think of what we hace gained, sorry goodfella could not find you but did find a fantastic bar , katmando (not sure spelings will have to look on picciies) but you MUST go ther to see for yourselfs xxx

Had a little light rain a couple of nights ago, and the evenings are getting cold, but yesterday and today we've had blue skies and warm sunshine.
