Welcome Andy ... not just the Canaries, a general strike is planned for Spain next Wednesday, 29 September. However it is difficult to split fact from media hype at the moment. Meetings are still ongoing and hopefully further information will be available in the coming days. Meanwhile airlines and tour operators are still accepting bookings for the date in question.
