We are also going to Strofades Beach hotel on 16 June for two weeks.
I have checked reviews on a few forums and all get good reports.. I am sooooo looking forward to my holiday.

Got back from our holiday on Friday and were really happy with Strofades Hotel. Hotel room was really spacious with three beds and bathroom was an excellent size and shower the best we have had in Greece. Also clean towels each day and bed linen changed about every 3 days. Plenty of choice for breakfast and although bacon and sausage not what I would choose at home you have to accept that you are in Greece and will be different. All in all could not fault the hotel and practically on the beach. Also plenty of sunbeds available at pool. Best restaurant we found was Obelix just opposite Red Lion, also Benikos, Apollon, Koukos and Athena all good meals. We liked Obelix as it is family run and freshly cooked - George and Nikos will make you very welcome.

Thanks for letting me know how it went at the Strofades Hotel. I had seen a couple of reviews on another forum stating beds uncomfortable and place needs a lick of paint, so I was starting to panic. So it is great to know all was okay.

Well maybe not ultra smart hotel but certainly not scruffy and as for the beds we have found they do tend to be quite hard wherever we have stayed in Greece but we certainly slept well - hope you have a great holiday as we did.
