We are probably going to Crete/Greece for a week in August, but would like to possibly have another break in UK too - either long weekend or week. We have two teenagers - 14 yr old girl who is easily bored by ancient sites and beautiful countryside, but enjoys the sea and swimming pools etc - and 17 yr old son who longs to go to Rome (one day, yes!) and appreciates ancient history. He may well not come with us, being the age he is, but on the other hand knows a good deal when he sees it ie all expenses paid week away! Can anyone recommend an area that would suit both - and tired parents! We have usually gone to beautiful West Cornwall and the Lizard in the past (polurrian Hotel - geat) and I am tempted to try Pembrokeshire. But open to all suggestions!! Self Catering or (not luxury) hotel.
