Most aparts/hotels have some kind of computer that they class net access - knowing the Sun probably a clapped out very slow 10 year old desktop!! But there are other hotels within a couple of mins walk that will have better facilities, prob with wirless hotspots so you can use your own if you want (Club Julian & Atrium come to mind)

The sun is about 15 minutes walk to the front - but you can jump on a dolmush ot far from the hotel and be down there in a couple of mins

Im not sure about the balcony situ, but beware they are not the best aparts - Would struggle for 2 star i guess. My friends were booked i there last year - they said the fridge was all mouldy & rusty, electrical sockets hanging out of wall/ceiling - really bad! But then i have heard people sayig they are basic but ok - So long as you dot go with high expectations you should be ok

Cheers

Hi
we stayed at sun aparts last june, myself the inlaws and three daughters aged 2,11,14.we found the apartments very clean and huge.there are balconys attached to all apartments and there is internet access(we took our laptop and connected with no probs). No offence to the person who said his friends found there stay not nice i would have to disagree but everyone has different holidays. We found no such problems and my parents flew out for a week during our second week there and the hotel they booked wont mention its name was not nice and they came and booked an apartment at the sun for a week at 15 pound per night per room. The prices are cheap and food is ok but staff are great. The beach is about a ten minute walk away and the harbour is a few minutes on a dolmus. Its situated in a avery nice area of marmrais and i myself would reccomend it.we stayed there for the first time and enjoyed it so much we have booked diy this year going on the 31st of may for two weeks, something we havnt done in the ten years we have visited marmrais and believe me we have had a couple of bad hotels in that time.as for 2 star thats not right iv been there and seen first hand. They have two seperate bedrooms, seperate good sized kitchen ,seperate dining room and good sized shower room that were very clean. There is a great selection of restaraunts and bars nearby. We made friends with a young couple last year who never had any children at the sun and it was there first time in turkey and loved it and the sun apartments. You can get apartments looking over the pool but you would have to ask for them i would assume,my parents got a one as did the inlaws.Hope you go there as you would enjoy it,put it this way if you didnt like it in june when yous go you can personally chuck me in the pool soon as you see me as we will be there at the same time as you ha ha.All that said go for it you will enjoy your stay there. This is just my honest opinion of the place and surrounding area and im in no way connected to the hotel.

Hiya Stew

I realise people have varying tastes - which is why i had said in my post about knowing others who had liked it

Are you aware of the differing standards in each of the blocks? They put my friend in the block thats usually booked out long term/seasonally to the Turks. Only when my hubby (turkish) went up and spoke to the owner did they move them - that block was slightly better, no electrical hazards put it that way - They still moved out after 2 nights and spent the remainder of their 3 weeks down by us

Cheers

Have had a look at the reviews and things for the apartments and have decided to book up.

Hopefully will get flights and I will just book direct with the apartments.

Emailed the place and got an email back saying they all have balconies and did I have any other requests they would be greatful to help me out.

Suppose for the price you can't expect anything amazing but most people seem to be happy enough with it.

So anyone staying in the apartments around 13th June for 2 weeks guess I will see you there :)

sephaniek 15,

We have stayed at these aparts twice in the last 2 years and to be honest they are getting better each year, i spoke to Roberto last night and they are revamping all showers and hoping to regrade the swimming pool to include a shallow end, as at the moment it is all one depth about 6 foot deep.
The Aparts are family run and will do all they can to help, have a look here for some more info and this years photos :-)

The Rainbow pub next door is always a good venue to spend an evening too.

Enjoy :tup
