We're staying in the Punta Del Mar which seems to get mainly good reviews. The weather seems to be picking up aswell so fingers crossed we'll have a good week. Will report back when we're home with details of sun beds etc.

I booked it all independantly. I got the flights directly with BMI Baby, booked the hotel through Travel Republic and a taxi transfer to and from the resort with Janerbus. It worked out well over £100 cheaper per person than we were quoted by the tour operators and we would have been stuck on a coach with them aswell! Its well worth looking at DIY rather than booking a package cos of the number of budget airlines flying to Palma on a daily basis. Theres plenty of hotels and apartments of all standards to choose from aswell. I'll let you know what the hotels like on my return if your thinking of booking.

think the deal i am looking at to go to alcudia or palma nova seems ok 1250 sep for 5 not to bad eh

Just got back from Santa Ponsa earlier this week. They are charging 3 euros for a sun bed and the same again for a parasol.
