I have just come across this link sbavto.com for the bus routes and fare prices for buses in Sunny Beach. It is 2008 prices, but they cannot of gone up that much really.
We went to Sunny beach 5 years ago,and we liked to get out and about and do everything ourselves,go exploring, rather than depend on travel reps and their tours. We went as far as Varna on our own last time on their buses.
Hope this link has not been posted before, just thought i would share.
A significant rise (in local percentage terms) in Bulgarian bus fares took place in the summer of 2008, due to rapidly rising oil prices and, typically, stayed the same last year - this year, who knows?
Another useful site for municipality/inter-city bus timetables is http://avtogari.info/index_en.php, for Sunny Beach (as it's not a real town, merely a summer resort) you'll need to enter its name in Bulgarian (áûъýчõò ÃÂ'Ñ€ÑÂÂó) in order to find buses which stop/pass through.
Baldur
Thanks for that useful site Baldur,at least the buses are fairly regular, half hourly or so.I just used Googletranslate to get place names in Bulgarian. Thanks, all these little things help.
