Hello everyone.

Just wondered if anyone could give me some opinions and that about what to expect. There is a group of six of us, all lads going to Sunny Beach in June for two weeks.

Was just wondering what there was in the terms of nightlife for us, we are all between the ages of 18 and 20.

I had became a bit concerened by some of the resort reviews saying stuff like they didn't see one single group of teenagers their whole trip.

Are we likely to feel like leppars over there or is there bars, pubs clubs etc to acoomodate us.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Oh and on a sub note we are staying at the Hotel Korona, wondered if anyone had stayed there and had any impressions of it.

Hi Kasabian,
Your hotel is right next door to the Lazur night club which stays open ,til about 5am it also has a swimming pool inside and is very popular with the local girls.

Thanks for the help there.

I checked out the link, which was really helpful and was the first chance i have realy had the chance to see pictures of anything. Kind of puts your more in the mood of going.

Also knowing about being next to the lazur has helped place us roughly on the sunnbeachmap site as our hotel isn't listed on it.

Hi Del, no news at all. Balkan said it was finished so for now I will just have to believe them

4 weeks 5 days to go

the report I read said that Balkan would let people know at the end of April. Well we are nearly the end of April

I'll let you know if I hear anything

I'll keep fingers crossed for you! Reading through threads here it looks like Balkan have started messing with people's flights/airports already...

I had a worry a few weeks ago when my hotel disappeared from the Eclipse web-site :shock:

Mad panic phoning them to find out what's happened. It took a while to sort out but it turned out it was simply that Eclipse have filled their room allocation and the hotel is full :oops:

I've heared such bad reports on hotel bookings in Bulgaria that hadn't crossed my mind :sulk

Hi Del, I think you are right about the prospect of disrupted holidays again this year.
I have read on another site that the Bulgarian authorities are concerned about water, sewage and Electricity supplies with all the new hotels going up in Sunny beach :shock:

Also there are some new hotels which won't be ready

Guess we will have to see what happens :shock:

Hey poeple...

In August me and my bf is travelling to Sunny beach. I really can't wait, but until then I have some questions. :?:

We are going to stay at Jantra Hotel. Where can we change into leva(nearby)? I have heard about Crown, and that it is safe to change at the hotels....Is this true? If so; where is Crown?

Ps; Has anyone stayed at Jantra?

Hi,

Crown are the official changing boothes found all over sunny beach.

They are safe and give a better exchange rate than hotels.

Sorry not stayed at the Jantra.

I know of a Yantra hotel in Sunny Beach,

HI, I would strongly advise you to change your money in any of the banks dotted all over SB. We always use the one in the middle of SB opposite the Hotel Kuban. Do not use a booth unless its got a blue crown on the top, all the others are con men. Most hotels also change money but rate isn't as good as banks.
Best take newish £20/£10 notes without any writing on them or torn, these do not get a charge whereas traveller cheques do.
Hope you enjoy your time, we are looking forward to going back in Sept. again.
