Hi Lyn, yes we had a lovely time. I liked Egypt and the people. Hotel was great with the entertainment being slightly better than we expected, Shoalin monks, chinese circus, that type of thing. I would go again but earlier in the year as it got dark very early and to be honest I could have done with a coat at night! The wind coming off the red sea was so cold! Thanks for asking, have a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year, Sharon x
Thats great to hear sharon . So pleased you enjoyed it . Must admit we do like to have an extra week there at easter now but it does get dark early at that time too . Sun goes by 4.30-5pm and dark around 6 although it is up very early in the morning and it's not uncommon for people to be sunbathing from 6.30 am .
Could anyone tell me if this hotel has water slides and if not, does the garden hotel have them? Just got a good deal for 2 weeks easter hols for 2ad 1ch next year T.cook £1747.Thats all inc with free child place.
We had a week there last November. Yes they have a couple of water slides which are only used certain times of the day, because they are attended by a lifeguard. Nice clean hotel with pleasant staff.
Can't comment on the Sunrise Mamlouk Palace, but we have stayed at one of their sister hotels (Sunrise Royal Makadi Bay) and they have a HUGE childrens pool which is about 4ft in depth right through and has 5 slides.
Have been twice, and wouldn't hesitate to return again.
Regards,
Pat
