Sunwing apartments are in a lovely area within a 2 min walk of bars/restaurants & lots of shops. I have not stayed there but have had a look around & they look very nice (about 2 years old).
There is the Skypark a stone throws away from Sunwing & the waterpark is a short taxi ride away.

I don't think all the rides in the Skypark are operational as it seems only the pools were open.

Skypark re-opens April I think for the summer. (Only place that I know of in Tenerife thats closes for the 'winter'.

Sky Park is shut till summer season other than Raffles and the pools.

The local rumour is that the bungee and other rides may not open again as they failed their safety cert last year

Oh dear, isn't that why the Los C balloon closed down too.....

Hi

My son stayed there last year,he said the place was very good, but mainly scanadnavian people there. The brochures seem to charge you a supplement if only two of you go though.

we stayed in this hotel last year it is a scandadnavian run hotel it is very clean and all staff speak excellent english so you wont have any problems .

it is also walking distance to get to the beach

the only thing that let it down was the entertainment it was over by 10pm so never stayed for it but you can get a cab into playa las americas for about 6 euros each way .

there is also a lot of restraunts on the sea front and bars in walking distance .

have a great time 8)

hiya

I've booked up to stay in the sunwing resort in fanabe next july. Last time i was in tenerife was 14 years ago and I stayed in the La Pinta. Just so I can get my bearings how far away is Fanabe from the La Pinta (which I think was in the torviscas area?).

thanks chilli x :)
