hello all, thanks for your replies. Sorry I haven't looked in for a few days but have been flat out with food poisoning.
I am told Ushers Bar in Marmaris is in the Armutalan area not far from Kipa which is on the main road at the back of the town. I'm going to have to find it on Monday. I will contact Theresa who run the bar who has kindly agreed to be a collection point and ask her to post directions on here. There is another English lady in Dalaman who has also offered to collect things and also deliver them to the camps. I will ask her if she would post here too. I'll ask around to see if there is a collection point in Icmeler. This venture has really taken off and is being organised by a few people who belong to the Turkish living forum (hope it's ok to mention that in this context on here). I have told facebook friends what is happening and several have given me teddies so now I'm not going to have much room for clothes lol.

Ah, just found the directions I was given in order to find the bar - hope this helps.
keep on the main road with Kipa to your right keep going and then before you start to drive up the big Hill you will see a turning to the left take that keep on that road you will go round a corner and then directly in front of you on the left it will be lit up is our Bar.

Hello yes thats the directions unfortunately the last bit is wrong! whoops my error.
Go past Kipa on the right of you. Keep going until you are about to go up the large hill turn left and the sign SEHIR MERKEZI this will take you into Armutalan. You will go round a corner bearing left and then about 100 yards in front of you on the RIGHT! will be our bar.
The sign at the moment does say COSY CORNER (too long a story to go into that now) BUT it is covered with grapes so on a daytime visit it is in fact hard to tell its a bar at night times yes its lit up.
The Hotel next door is called THE HERMES if you pass us you will end up at the square just ask somebody where COSY CORNER / USHERS BAR is and somebody will know. Hope you find us.
