Hey, you won't get more of an anti-smoking person than me, but i thought i'd pass this on
when leaving Estartit, there was a note on our Interbrava departure details saying that a new law in France prevented people taking more than 1000 ciggies through the country
Now, im not sure how crucial the word 'more' is ... does this mean you are allowed more if you BUY them in France, but you can't buy them elsewhere and pass through? Either way, it looks like France's habit of just picking the EU rules it likes whilst abusing others is just continuing along as usual!
I may be anti-smoking, but this is anti-EU law and i hope someone challenges it!
