Taking other peoples children on holiday

Hi
Im going to florida in september and i have decided to take my 13 year old sister with me.
Do i need to take anything with me to say that i have permission to take her out of the country?
Any advice would be appreciated.

we took our niece with us last year and we had her parents right us a letter saying we had their permision to take her out the country but nobody here or abroad asked to see it

Last year we took my Son'd friend on holiday, and wanted to know exactly the same thing

This year we're taking my Daughter's friend to Egypt

I shall just get a letter from my mum,it seems to be enough.
It's a big responsibility taking someone elses child on holiday and i just want to make sure i have everything in order.
