Taking Passport to Port Aventura ?

Hi All

Just picked up my 3 day passes for Port Aventura, and the girl in Lunn Poly told us we need to take our passports with us the first day, and that they take a photo of you, this is to stop selling on tickets and giving them away

Does anyone know if this is correct , we were there about 5 years ago and we didn't have to do anything like that. I really don't like the idea of carrying around 4 passports while in the park

Hi Jenni

Just returned and we had a 14 day pass.We took our passports up the first time we went and never got asked for them.Over the next 12 days we never took our passports and were only asked twice for them,just told the guy at the turnstyle we didnt have them them and he let us in anyway.This was par for the course as many other people at our hotel were doing the same.As for having your photo taken that is a definite no.

Hi Nigel

Thanks for answering my questions, we are just going to go and act dumb if they ask for the passport !!!!!!!!!! As I said before carrying around passports while on all those rides, isn't really the ideal situation, We head off on Thursday night / Friday morning, and just can't wait now.
