Off to Tunisia for the first time on the 1st August. I like to make an effort and learn a little of the language before I go anywhere, so can anyone recommend a good... cheap... smalll arabic phrase book? Or is there such a thing as an app for the iphone thats good? I speak a little French.. is this widespread and understood by Tunisians still?
Nothing too complicated, just things like good morning, good evening, thanks, and asking for a few staples, coffee drinks food etc.
This is the very topic you want to look at http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=103656&hilit=arabic+phrases
French still widely spoken as is English and German so you have a choice
An app for the iphone, that's a good idea I wonder if there is one
