Don't know about the apartment penthouse as such, but the Tamarindos apartment block is quite small in that there aren't that many apartments. Pretty good location, 5 minutes at most to the fabulous beach and more or less halfway between the port area and the main tourist centre around Bellevue. Some bars and restaurants immediately near to the apartments. Dos Pins and Los Tamarindos are both good for grills and the like. Foxes Bar over the main road is popular and pretty economical for breakfasts. Should be good and have a great time.
