When we were out there in June we paid 25 lira,this was before midnight,prices go up after that.Dolmus runs until 1am.

I was going to say a couple of Lira (2009 prices - haven't been yet this year) for the Dolmus is a much cheaper option unless you are fit - in which case do the sea front walk from Marmaris to Icmeler. There are plenty of late night bars where you can take a breather - myself and the OH are far from fit but we did it in a couple of hours with stops and it really is a pleasant walk.

Thanks. Have only ever taken the water taxi. Didn't realise you could walk all the way from Marmaris to Icmeler. Funny feeling I won't bother though 2 hours seems an awful long time to be walking after a night out!!

Ha ha,I agree Jacki dolmus is the cheapest option only 2 lira each way.

With the stops on the way you make it part of the night out

But 2 lira on the Dolmus is the lazy way

from papilion restaraunt on main street to icmeler market paid 20 lire on 16th june....

Depends where you are staying in Marmaris,its a big place,if you are staying close to the marina end it could be more than 25 lira.
