You say 'up along the coast'. I only know of one Playa La Pinta which is near Puerto Colon - is that the one?) If so:

Lots of buses go from Los C to Playa la Pinta - cannot remember the numbers, but try INVALID URL which is the Tenerife bus company website. I am sure that the 111 stops outside the Torviscas Playa hotel, which is the stop you will need. Also many others. You could get a cab, probably 5-6 Euros (not sure)

Thanks for the information i am sure that it will be useful to me , I have found out a little more about the venue that i am trying to locate it is known locally as La Fortaleza del Mar or the bar y restaurant maybe this will ring a bell with you ...thanks anyway ...Paddy

Yup, that's the one, near Peurto Colon (try INVALID URL Actually looks quite nice, might give it a try when we go back later in the year)...... There is a map on the website under - location - you might find that helpful too

sorry to be a pain but i am staying at the Oasis Moreque in Los Cristianos is this far from the bus station if there is one or is it just a bus stop ..cheers ..paddy

Sorry, don't really know Los C. There isn't a bus stop as such but a number of stops along a sort of dual carriageway. You cannot miss them really and all buses are clearly marked. Don't know where your hotel is but sure it cannot be far. Ask at the hotel, sure they will know.

Leave the Oasis Moreque and turn left along the main road towards the Princesa Dacil hotel on the opposite side of the road. The bus station is just over the X-roads/traffic lights on the right-hand side. As Andrew say's, it is a number of bus stops at the edge of the road.
