Just had a quote from Janerbus for return trip from airport to Puerto Pollensa in September-€146!! Seems to be about the going rate but a lot more expensive than it was last year. :(

Hi i have just booked return transfers from palma to alcudia with Janerbus ,
i am in a wheel chair and they have said it would cost 66 euro's each way,you pay 66 euro's to the driver when you arrive and 20 euro's down for your return journey,
this is the best price i have had, i have been told £276 return with other operaters,
they emailed me confirmation and booking ref straight away now i have no worry's,can't wait to go on holiday. :)

Thanks for your replies. I dont know what to do for the best. We do have coach tranfers already arranged with the holiday but ive heard it take 2 hours to get to Alcudia because its the last drop off. Our flight is already mid afternnon which means we wont get to our hotel till about 8pm and that means we have lost a days holiday.

It takes about 35 to 40 mins get to alcudia in a taxi,
it is a long journey on the coach keep stopping and starting ,
taxi for me if they is 4 of you it does not work out much dearer :)

Think it was €15 each way last September with janerbus private transfer (4 people)

how long would it take and how much will it be for a taxi from calas de mallorca?
my son has booked a transfer with resorthoppa and i have been reading some bad things about them i.e that they haven't turned up to take you to the airport.
if it's not to expensive it may be worth him getting a taxi just in case.

To Calles de Mallorca I reckon it could be around 80 EUR. Well, that's what it costs to Porto Cristo which is about the same distance. I would stick with ResortHoppa as I think it is not as bad as you think. You only hear about it when there are problems. I never heard any problems from anyone I know has used it.

It cost us €98 return for a private transfer with Janerbus.com from Palma airport to Camp de Mar and back this month. This was €26 less than I was quoted by ResortHoppa. As Janerbus were much cheaper and are a company that have a better reputation than ResortHoppa on this forum, it was a no-brainer really. The service was excellent and though we were 45 minutes late getting to the pickup point due to problems with the luggage carousel, the driver was still there waiting for us with a smile and a handshake. The return transfer was just as smoothly efficient and I would have no hesitation in using them again.

Like a lot of you I have just booked the Janerbus for next Friday - transfer to and from Alcudia.

In the booking confirmation it doesnt say what to do when you get to the airport and I have looked at their website which doesnt seem to clarify.

Could anyone who has used them at Palma Airport let me know what to do - do I have to phone their number when I arrive or will they automatically be waiting? - they have our flight details etc.

any advice gratefully accepted!
Edited later - DOH!!! It tells me at the bottom of their email to go to gate 7! Sorry for posting before reading :duh :duh :duh

Hi tootsie, i have also booked with janerbus from palma to alcudia,it states in my confirmation i received to go to gate 7 inside terminal building where you will find one of there representative's or drivers with a sign: janerbus.com and your name on it,they have also said you pay the driver for your journey to hotel plus 20 euro's on account for departure transfer then the remainderer on day of departure hope this helps. :cheers

Tootsie & Niecey, after leaving the luggage carousel area and entering the arrivals hall where the holiday reps congregate, turn left. Gate 7 (or terminal exit door 7 really) is in the left-hand corner of the terminal clearly marked.

Hope you have a great holiday niecey.

Just a reminder that you should advise your travel insurance of your stroke if you haven't already done so.

Great news. Many people forget to advise their insurance or don't think it's relevant.

Hope you have a great holiday and hope you will be able to post a review on your return.
